Rachel performs “Promised Land” on Daystar Television New Year’s Day

On New Year’s Day, I had the honor of joining Jonathan and Suzy Lamb to share about and perform my latest single "Promised Land."

"Promised Land" is based on the promise God gave Abraham in Genesis 22:17-18. The scripture says," I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the cities of their enemies, and through your offspring, all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me."

In the interview, I share about how Abraham lived in the desert. Each day he saw sand, and each night he saw stars. God gave Abraham a tangible vision to accompany the promise God spoke to him. I believe maintaining vision is crucial in order to step into the promise God has for each of us.

God’s timing is perfect. I cannot imagine a better way to kick off 2022 than by singing a song based on Genesis 22!! I wrote "Promised Land" to encourage myself and others to persevere in the pursuit of their God-given dreams. I believe this song was meant to be released now, and I pray it is an anthem of hope that moves you into the destiny God has over your life!
